A Walk in the Garden
After my morning run, I walked through the beautiful gardens at the Gathering Place. I needed to make stronger efforts to refocus my thoughts and nature is always helpful in this regards. As I snapped photos (lots of them) of beautiful flowers, a thought came to me related to my mantra of late, which has been “I’m just taking one breath at a time”. My thought is: A walk in the garden can’t heal grief, but it can make the next breath bearable”.
So if you are having a hard time finding or even facing the next breath, go outside. And go outside often.
